The PreACT provides students with a realistic ACT Exam experience, giving students an opportunity for low-stakes practice in a high-stakes environment, while also empowering students with insights into their college and career readiness even sooner. The PreACT provides early indicators of progress as well as ideas for improvement. The results of this test are not shared with colleges/universities.
This opportunity will be offered twice this year:
Saturday, November 6, 2021 (deadline to sign up is Friday, October 22, 2021) Saturday, January 29, 2022 (deadline to sign up is Friday, January 14, 2022)
$14 Registration Fee: Paid in cash or check made payable to "Oregon High School" and dropped off in the Student Services Office prior to test day or turned into the room proctor the morning of the exam.
PreACT Standard Time Test Includes:
English (30 minutes) Math (40 minutes) Reading (30 minutes) Science (30 minutes)
Testing will begin at 9:00 am on test day. Students arrive for check in at 8:45 am and must bring an ACT approved calculator, several #2 pencils (NO mechanical pencils), and their student ID (if available).
Cell Phones will be OFF and AWAY during testing.
You may bring a water bottle and/or snack for break.
The Panther Pledge and OSD health safety protocol shall be followed.
