I have been at OHS since 1995 and am a school counselor for students with last names H-O. I serve as an advisor for the Exchange Program, Interact Club, Panthers Committed, and Imagine. One of the favorite parts of my job is assisting students with their future career and post secondary plans. Both of my sons attend/ed colleges out of the area and I have spent extensive time researching and touring colleges and universities. Our family has hosted 6 exchange students. This has been an extremely valuable experience.  I enjoy traveling to new locations, biking, cooking and attending sporting events with my husband, Derek, and two sons, Jackson and Calvin.

I have been at OHS since 2012 and coordinate the School to Career program including Youth Apprenticeship and State Skills Certification. My goal is connecting students interested in including work-experience as part of their high school experience with advanced coursework and businesses interested in mentoring a student interested in their field and help build the future workforce. My volunteer experience includes: Oregon Youth Hockey coach, Oregon Rotary member, Oregon Chamber of Commerce. Amie Mitchell

As the School Social Worker for the Oregon Middle and High School I am excited to work with students, staff and families. I have practiced school social work in the elementary setting as well as middle and high school since 2001.  My goal is to support students' overall wellbeing and provide resources to families so students can learn and thrive in school.  This may include providing individual or group counseling, connecting families to local resources and helping to reduce barriers to student learning. I look forward to fostering relationships with parents and students while building connections between school, home and community services. I serve as the AODA coordinator, Student Assistance Program Coordinator and Keeping Everyone You know Safe (KEYS) club advisor.
