Kindergarten Supply List

School supply lists are the same across grade levels throughout the district.

Supplies may need to be replenished throughout the school year as needed.  If you need assistance with providing supplies for your student, please complete this School Supply Request Form. 

Kindergarten Supply List
  • 4 boxes 24 count crayons
  • 2 folders (plastic/durable preferred)
  • 18 regular or 12 jumbo glue sticks
  • 1 pair blunt edge child-size scissors
  • 2 boxes 8-10 count classic color washable markers
  • 4 dry erase thick markers (low odor)
  • 2 wide-ruled spiral single subject notebooks
  • 12 count #2 pencils (prefer sharpened)
  • 1 oversized t-shirt to be used as art smock labeled with name (all schools except Prairie View)
  • 1 rest towel (an old beach towel will work)
  • 1 box zip bags (last names A-G sandwich, H-L quart, M-S snack, T-Z gallon)
  • 1 Large backpack (easy to open and large enough to hold a folder and lunchbox, with no wheels)
  • 1 set of extra clothes in labeled reclosable (1 outfit appropriate for year round wear - pants, shirt, socks, underwear)
  • Wired headphones (over the ear preferred)
  • 1 tray washable watercolors
  • 2 yellow highlighters
  • 1 bottle white glue
  • Optional: 1 pair of tennis shoes for gym - labeled with name (velcro preferred)
