As the School Social Worker for the Oregon Middle and High School I am excited to work with students, staff and families. I have practiced school social work in the elementary setting as well as middle and high school since 2001. My goal is to support students' overall wellbeing and provide resources to families so students can learn and thrive in school. This may include providing individual or group counseling, connecting families to local resources and helping to reduce barriers to student learning. I look forward to fostering relationships with parents and students while building connections between school, home and community services. I serve as the AODA coordinator, Student Assistance Program Coordinator and Keeping Everyone You know Safe (KEYS) club advisor.

Hello! I am OHS' new full-time school psychologist. I work to help evaluate students to see if they are a candidate to receive special education services through Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and help in assessing students in the A-F and G-N neighborhoods. I also am a case manager for some students with Section 504 plans. I'm passionate about advocating for neurodiverse learners and helping students work through challenging situations by growing coping skills. I grew up in Madison, graduated from Macalester College in the Twin Cities with degrees in Psychology and Education in 2015, and completed my Master's and Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degrees in School Psychology back here at UW-Madison in 2023. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, spending time with family and my two cats, and trying new restaurants. My door is always open to come and say hi!

As one of the School Psychologists for the Oregon High School, I am excited to work with students, staff and families. I started working in the Oregon School District as the middle school psychologist beginning in February of 2013. I started my career as a school psychologist at McNeel Middle School in Beloit in 2005. Prior to that, I was a special education teacher in Madison. In my position, my primary focus is to be an advocate for the development of educational supports/services necessary to ensure all students grow both academically and social-emotionally. I’m excited to start my next chapter in the Oregon School District as part of the amazing staff at the high school.
