I am thrilled to be the Prairie View Elementary School Principal. I have had the privilege to spend the last 18 years as an educator working with students at the elementary level. The first 10 years of my career were spent in the Verona Area School District. I spent many years as a third grade teacher before transitioning to a third grade position at Netherwood Knoll Elementary School. While at Netherwood Knoll Elementary, I spent three years as a third grade teacher and two years as a second grade teacher before having the incredible opportunity to be the administrative intern. The commonality of all my experience has been the collaboration with others to provide the best possible education experiences for students.

Having lived in Oregon for over 10 years, I am very invested in the local community. I enjoy making connections with students and families at sporting events, community activities and even at the grocery store! I feel these connections can help build positive bridges between school and families.

One of my main goals is to ensure every student is provided the highest quality education possible in a safe and supportive learning environment. I strongly believe in both academic achievement and the long term development and success of all students. Socio-emotional, physical and creative capacities are equally important in ensuring a child’s wellbeing, learning, and growth. I am committed to helping each student achieve their very best by working together as a team with staff and parents. Every student is valued and worthy of our best effort.

I look forward to getting to know you and the Prairie View community.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me.

I am very excited to be a member of the Prairie View staff as the Administrative Intern. I come to Prairie View having taught grades 1-4, most recently being a 2nd grade teacher at Brooklyn Elementary from 2015-2018. I have loved the opportunity to contribute to the goals and initiatives set forth by the Oregon School District. I have enjoyed collaborating with staff across buildings on curriculum teams, green and healthy initiatives, and opportunities for students and families that support the whole child. I believe that providing a safe and supportive, engaging and inspiring, clear and high expectation setting for students will help them achieve high levels of success.I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work at another elementary school within the Oregon School District and meet and serve many more students and families in the PVE community.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
