Portrait of a Graduate 2022
Together with our community, the Oregon School District is engaging in a strategic planning process to define the characteristics, attributes and skills we want our students to possess by the time they graduate from Oregon High School; in other words, the Oregon School District “portrait of a graduate.” Watch this video to learn more. This important and exciting work is part of a comprehensive strategic planning framework.
Community Engagement, Input & Feedback
The Oregon School District has a proud tradition of working together with the community to plan for the future. The Portrait of a Graduate effort is another example of this approach.
OSD Info Night: Planning for Today and Tomorrow
On March 7 2022, members from the community came together to participate in an informational session to share the most up-to-date draft of the Portrait of a Graduate. Feedback from community focus groups, OSD staff and leadership teams informed this draft. If you were unable to attend, we encourage you to review the latest Portrait of Graduate draft document (Spanish), watch the video recording and share your feedback using this form (Spanish).
Community Focus Groups
On June 17, 2021 we held in-person community focus groups for all who wished to attend. Over 60 community members joined us to provide input that will inform next steps. A virtual focus group was held in July. Additional opportunities for input will be available in later 2021 - early 2022. We are so grateful for all participants who volunteered their time to share feedback.
