School Board
The mission of the Oregon School District is to educate all students by helping them acquire the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to achieve their individual potential, to contribute to a changing society, and to be receptive to learning as a lifelong process.

There are seven seats on the Oregon School District Board of Education.

Public Comment
District Policy 180.05 provides an opportunity for the public to address the Board. We value the public comment period and feedback from our stakeholders. To comply with the Open Meetings Law and to ensure consistency, public comment will have the following parameters:
- Speakers will have three minutes in which to make their comments. Speakers will be signaled when their time is up.
- The Board will not comment after each speaker and will reserve discussion to any items on the agenda. Speakers are welcome to stay for the meeting.
- Next steps following public comment may include: referral to the appropriate administrator for follow-up with the speaker or placement of the matter on a future Board agenda.

The following incumbent school board member(s) whose term of office expires in April 2026 and whose seat will be contested at the 2026 Spring Election have filed a Notification of Noncandidacy, as provided under section 120.06(6)(b)3 of the state statutes:
