Summer School Meal Program (July 8 - 31)

  • The Oregon School District will be offering breakfast and lunch to students during summer school (7/8 - 7/31) to help busy families and provide healthy meal choices for children. Meals will be provided at Oregon High School, the main summer school course building. Summer school transportation will accommodate time for breakfast and lunch.  Please complete this form if you plan on eating this summer to help us plan for food quantities.

Meal Prices

  • Breakfast:  $2.00

    • Served 7:35 AM - 8:00 AM, July 8-31
    • 1% white or skim chocolate milk offered with each meal

    Lunch:  $3.40

    • Served 12:15 - 12:30 PM, July 8-31
    • 1% white or skim chocolate milk offered with each meal


    Click here for instructions on how to add money to your student's meal account. Students who qualified for free or reduced meal prices during the 2023-2024 school year will be eligible for the same free or reduced prices this summer.

Summer Menus

  • If my child rides the bus will there be time to eat breakfast and grab lunch?
    Yes. Bus times and meal times will be coordinated to allow children to take advantage of both breakfast and lunch.

    Can my child eat breakfast if he/she does not ride the bus?
    Yes. Breakfast will be served from 7:35 - 8:00 AM. Children should enter through Door 12. Please do not drop your child off at Oregon High School prior to this time, as supervision will not be available.

    If my child receives free/reduced lunch, does it still apply for summer?
    Yes. If your child received free/reduced lunch during the 2023-2024 school  year, the same will apply to the summer food meal program. If you would like to see if your child qualifies for free/reduced options, you may find additional details HERE. You may still apply for free/reduced meals for the 2023-2024 school year.

    How do I pay for summer meal service?
    We will use the same process that is used for food payments during the school year. Instructions for adding money to your child’s food account can be found HERE.

    What if my child has food allergies?
    If your child has a food allergy, it is very important that summer school teachers and our Food Service department are informed. Please visit our food allergy page for additional information and a form to be completed by your child’s physician. If you have already completed this form, you do not need to do it again.

    Will there be vegetarian and/or vegan options?
    A summer menu will be available on our website that will list options available. Vegetarian options for breakfast (yogurt, string cheese) and lunch (cheese sandwich) will be available upon request each day. At this time, we are not able to offer vegan choices.
