• Each month, a different in-season and Wisconsin-grown food is chosen as the Harvest of the Month (HOM). The HOM will be featured on the school lunch menu and taste tests. The HOM is always nutritious and delicious, and a great way to celebrate local foods from around our state!

    Kale has been around for over 2,000 years! It is a good source of vitamins A, C and K. Kale also contains antioxidants which promote general health and well-being. Just one cup of kale provides more vitamin A and vitamin K than you need in a day!
