Want to learn a delicious and nutritious recipe together each week? AmeriCorp Farm to School specialists, Michelle and Rebekah, are teaching weekly virtual cooking classes for grades 2nd through 6th via Google meets. Our goal is to walk students through the foundational steps of cooking, educate them about the health benefits of cooking with fruits and vegetables, and help students build confidence in the kitchen. Each recipe will highlight a Wisconsin grown food item and discuss the health benefits of this item. Recipes will be provided one week prior to the class to allow time for grocery shopping. Please sign up for classes each week for the recipe and link to be sent to you or can be found below. Fee: $15. Let's get cooking!

Session one of our virtual cooking club series will be focused on teaching students basic cooking skills, such as food safety, measuring, knife skills, sauteing and frying, and how to pair spices together.
