TIP 2 Course Description
TIP 2 is a professional growth experience in which educators stretch their understanding of what it means to learn in a networked world. The course is designed to raise the bar in terms of people's understanding of effective technology use from a philosophical standpoint so they can evaluate new technologies and incorporate them effectively, rather than just be taught how to use the current fad. This is done by introducing people to the concept of Personal Learning Networks (PLNs) and helping them establish their own, since PLNs are a key to long-term successful professional growth and they leverage the social networking tools that characterize 21st century learning.
