CURRICULUM COORDINATING COUNCIL
OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES
VISION
The CCC will provide curricular leadership by reinforcing the district vision of continuous
improvement through development and evaluation of (district) curricula, reporting results, and
advocating change while continually scanning the educational landscape for new promising effective
programs.
COMMUNICATION
The CCC will provide leadership in communication among buildings, grade levels and the school
community on curricular and instructional topics.
Encourage the creation of a structure to collect needs assessment information to be communicated to
CCC/SAC.
BEST PRACTICES AND TRAINING
The CCC will provide leadership in investigating and evaluating best practices.
The CCC will provide leadership by advocating for in-service and training in various knowledge bases
to promote continuous improvement in the development and delivery of curriculum.
DATA ANALYSIS / CHECKS AND BALANCE / CURRICULUM MONITORING
The CCC will provide leadership in the evaluation of district curriculum by…

BUDGET/RESOURCES
The CCC will provide leadership for considering all available dollars for district curriculum work and
prioritize dollars according to identified curricular needs.
Establish a yearly proposal to the Superintendent and the BOE for necessary resources so that
identified CCC/SAC work can be completed.
