C.  Participants

1.     Each school may enter 3 varsity entrants in all individual events.

2.     For J.V. competition, schools may enter any number with coaches using their own discretion.

3.     Each Varsity team is allowed one relay.  J.V.'s may have more if coaches agree and lanes are available.

4.     Each individual is limited to events as prescribed by W.I.A.A. rules.

5.     An individual may participate in both Varsity and J.V. in the same meet as long as the total number of events is within the rules.

6.     Relay alternates count as an entered event and an athlete may be entered twice on a given relay.  For example, if a school lists six individuals for the boys.  Varsity 4 X 100 relay, one or two of the six may also be listed as a J.V. competitor in the relay.  The individual may not run both races but may be listed in both.

 D. Lane assignments and field event order

 1.   Running events: Home teams are assigned lane 1 for the first event.  The alphabetical team after the home team is assigned lane 2 and if the other team lane 3.   A rotational system will follow by the home team moving to lane 2 and the lane 3 team moving to lane 1 and the lane 2 team moving to lane 3.

2.   Field Events

Long and triple jump are run open pit and should present no problems.  If there does become a problem they should follow the order of the 4 X 800 relay.

High Jump order should reflect 4 X 800 relay lane assignments.

Pole Vault order should reflect the H.H. lane assignments (110M).

Discus order should reflect the 100 lane assignments.

Shot put order should reflect the 1600 lane assignments.

E.   Entries for dual meets

1.   Unless consensus has been agreed upon in advance, all dual meets will be scored by hand. Coaches will exchange entries for dual/triple meets by noon of the day of the meet. Competing schools should arrive in enough time to make changes if necessary by 4:15 P.M. This would be true for a double dual as well. (6/10/2009)

2.   If a problem exists in making   changes and "jockeying", each school shall write their entries on a sheet of paper, seal it and turn it into the meet manager.  The meet manager will then make assignments.

F.   Results to the other school

It is the responsibility of the host school coach to see that a copy of the results from each triple dual is forwarded to the head coach, both boys and girls, of all conference schools in your division. (6/9/2004)

G.  Results to Media

The host school is responsible for getting complete meet results to the appropriate media!
