Adult gives direction. Student doesn’t follow it. Adult repeats direction and
gives the student a choice to comply or there will be a consequence. |
Administration is
contacted. Child is removed from the
area. Student stays in
alternative site for a minimum of half a day. Student processes behavior
with an adult and meets with teacher and administration before returning to
mainstream classes. Repeated Behavior in a Short Period of Time - Parent is contacted, student is sent home. Student and parents have a
readmit conference the next morning.
Student can not return without parent/student attendance and
participation. The purpose is to be
certain that the student has processed the behavior and is ready to return to
the school environment. |

Intimidation/Bullying |
Tell student to stop! Explain what is acceptable. Bully and victim are
reported to the Guidance Counselor for counseling. Incident must be recorded
including action, victim, etc. Guidance Counselor needs to
meet with both parties within the same day and reports results to parents. |
