Code of Conduct
The Oregon School District is committed to providing a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment for all. Student behavior is based on respect and consideration for the rights of others. Students are expected to participate fully in the learning process; avoid behavior that impairs their own or other student’s educational achievement; show respect for the knowledge and authority of teachers, administrators, and other school personnel; and recognize and respect the rights of others.
Violations of student expectations are grouped into three levels (Level One, Level Two, and Level Three). Before determining the level of a violation, the administrator will review the facts and consult with individuals necessary to make this determination. Once the level of the violation has been determined, appropriate disciplinary procedures will be implemented. The charts below contain the three levels of offenses and the potential consequences. The descriptions of these consequences are shown on the Policies and Procedures page.
