OHS Building Rules for Students

1. Horeseplay, vulgar or inappropriate language, or noise-making devices will not be permitted.
2. Taunting, bullying or fighting will not be permitted.
3. Signs of affection deemed inappropriate to the school setting will not be permitted.
4. Students will respect the property of others and of the school.
5. Students will be responsible for cleaning up their own messes in a timely manner.  Garbage will be thrown away in receptacles that are provided throughout the building.
6. Students will be required to have a signed pass from a staff member when traveling in the hallways during class periods.
7. Students will be permitted to use cell phones in the Commons during a student’s designated lunch period or on school grounds outside of the building.
8. Students will promptly comply with the requests of any staff member.
9. Students will not wear clothing that exposes one’s rear end or cleavage.  Undergarments should not be visible.  Hoods pulled up on the head or other clothing items which conceal a student’s identity will not be permitted.  Students will not wear clothing that promotes or endorses illegal activities or clothing that could be deemed offensive.
10. Students will comply with additional rules that teachers establish for their individual classrooms.
