The English as a second language program serves about 80 students in the Oregon School District. Students in this program speak another language at home or at one time spoke another language at home.

ESL services are determined for each student based on a language screener given to the student by the ESL teacher. ESL services are individualized for each student; a student's plan is created based on collaboration between the classroom teacher, ESL teacher, and reading teacher (if applicable).
