Math
Brooklyn Elementary works with the Everyday Math program. There are many different algorithms that the class will learn this year, so if you don't understand something, let them be the teacher! You can also reference the Student Reference Book for help with math concepts and vocabulary. There are 12 units of study. At the beginning of each unit, there is a parent newsletter which includes information about what will be studied, as well as answers to all the homework. Homework will be daily, with a few exceptions. At the end of each unit, a progress report with feedback on the concepts learned, homework and effort. Please use the following math links to help with homework.
