¡Bienvenidos a la página de la Sra. Falcón! 

I am the Interim Spanish teacher for Ms. Brudos this year.   Originally from Chicago, I recently moved to the Mad-town area from Iowa with my husband and family.  I am the proud parent of twin 4-year-old boys, 2 cats, 2 Chi-weenies and 1 caterpillar named 'Fluffy'!     

Aside from growing up spending summers with my family in Guatemala, my formal education includes having attended the University of Illinois-Chicago for Undergrad, North Park University for my teaching  credentials and St. Xavier University for my Masters. My teaching experience includes teaching both Social Studies and Spanish over the course of 10 years; 4 years in suburban-Chicago, 5 years with Chicago Public Schools and 1 year in Davenport, Iowa.  

Moreover, I am really excited to be teaching Spanish here at Oregon Middle School this year. It is my hope and goal to motivate, teach, guide and encourage your child to be a life-longer learner.  I am a firm believer of the OMS policies "C.A.R.E." and hope to use many teachable moments in class supporting and discussing its relevance to real-life.  Equally, I look forward to getting to know the OMS student body and hosting many Fiestas!
