The OHS Music Department offers a rich student centered environment that encourages creative thought, collaborative work, a sense of community and a focus on individual learning in the study of music. The diverse curriculi deliver a strong emphasis that leads to the understanding of music as an academic subject and leads to lifelong participation in music making and advocacy for the arts.

In addition to leading the curricular music ensembles listed above, Nick is the Executive Director of the Oregon Marching and Athletic Arts Program (OMAAP) which includes Armada Winterguard (JV and Varsity), Shadow Indoor Percussion, Armada Cadets Middle School Marching Band, and our flagship high school summer marching band, Shadow Armada.
